Restarting the blog

Well, it's been a while since I actually posted a written item on my website. To be honest I was just being lazy as I have spent the last 18 months focused on my You Tube channel (RingoSimpkins) and neglected Ringo's World. I hope to rectify this by using both things together, so when posting on You Tube, placing a post on Ringo's World related to the You Tube video and running more "Work In Progress" articles on the blog and linking back to them via G+.

You Tube is a great platform but I also enjoy the "permanence" of the blog. I know both a subject to the fleeting nature of our online micro attention spans, but in our minds (well mine at least) the written word has more solidity than video.

So, from today I shall be following up my You Tube video uploads with a more expanded textual item here on Ringo's World. Let's hope I can manage it for longer than a week!
