MLRS Books, an internet hidden gem!
I was chatting to one of my friends today and a topic of conversation came up regarding another of my friends - David Westwood - website, MLRS Books.
It suddenly struck me that his site is a great resource for wargamers and modellers who are after accurate, often primary source material, information about a huge variety of topics relating WWII and WWI for both Axis and Allied forces. It's not just the usual stuff you can get in a bookstore off the self, there are Operational Papers, Divisional Histories, Uniforms, Analysis of campaigns and battles and maps to name but a few of the vast wealth of information.
David offers all his publications in a printed format and on CD and it's well worth the money if you are after really detailed information on a particular topic. An ex military man himself, David is passionate about his subject and has an encyclopedic knowledge of WWII Axis forces. I hear tell, that he is always up for giving a talk or presentation of a plethora of topics relating to his interest, so if you have a club or society and want to have him come talk to you then get in touch with him.
I cannot believe I had not put up a post about his site before now, so I thought I'd rectify this shortcoming forthwith. So, go check out his site MLRS Books without delay. I also hear he has another site on the horizon, I'll bung that in my bookmarks too as soon as I know the URL.
